My first few months in Poland I have been able to see some pretty nice things. I am living in Sopot which is a part of Tricity so there is always something new to see. This photo was taken soon after I arrived in Poland. I went out on Molo to see a movie and afterwards we went out by the boats. The pier is very nice and by now I have been on it many more times. I am looking forward to when the ice rink is set up in front of it.
Image may contain: nightI was also able to observe All Saints Day which was incredible. Walking through the cemeteries and seeing all of the lights was breathtaking. It was interesting for me because there is no holiday like this in the United States. It was nice to have a day to remember all of the people that have lived before us. Even though my host mom and I didn’t know anyone who was buried in the cemeteries we visited it still felt like we were all connected one way or another.
