My first month in Poland has been a roller coaster. I arrived in August and at the end of the month, we had the Orientation Camp with the district where I met the exchange students. I had the opportunity to try the typical food of the country and get to know cities like Warsaw, Gdańsk, Bydgoszcz and my city Grudziadz.
I started attending school and although at first it was difficult for me to speak, the teachers and my classmates were patient and kind. I had the opportunity to go to a primary school to talk to the children about myself and my country. In addition to celebrating my birthday, my family and friends made it special. I am very happy in my first month of my exchange, and making an effort to learn the language.
